Revelations of a Stormy Night
Two Things I know!
It finally stopped raining a few minutes ago.
Mom and I stepped out on the back porch...
she to survey Lake Comet...
me to go boom.
Within three feet of the door...
FLASHBAM!
Mom shouted "GET IN THE HOUSE!"
AND I DID.
Mom thinks lightning struck a block from here.
I don't know about that...
but I DO know two things:
- I can wait till morning to go boom!
- My chair is a good place to be!
